With the new season just days away, Goal.com offers its Serie A predictions for 2008/09.

Five teams are realistically in with a chance of winning the Scudetto, while some superstar names, most notably Jose Mourinho and Ronaldinho, have arrived in the peninsula to spice up proceedings.
Serie A may have lagged behind the Premiership and La Liga over the past few campaigns, both in quality, and results, but everything suggests that the gap will be closed this time around.
To get in the mood for the new season, Goal.com’s Italy team have offered their predictions for 2008/09. There are various categories, ranging from Scudetto Winners to Biggest Flop. All the votes from each person were added up, before the list below was constructed.
